Study Business on a Global Scale

Our program helps students understand the complex interconnectedness of global markets and assess market opportunities, risks involved in operating abroad, investment opportunities and alternative entry strategies. The MS-IMS program is a 36-hour degree plan with 18 hours of core credits, 9 hours of electives and 9-18 hours dedicated to a specific concentration.



While the MS-IMS program expands on topics covered in the Bachelor of Science in Global Business, our program attracts graduates of all academic backgrounds, including psychology, political science, engineering and computer science. Here are some other individuals who may consider the MS-IMS:

  • Managers whose organizations operate internationally or plan international operations in the future
  • Managers from different functional areas (HR, marketing, supply chain, finance, etc.) who would like to be more involved in global business strategy
  • Professionals from international organizations who want to expand their knowledge about global business
  • Aspiring leaders who are interested in gaining a competitive advantage in global business
  • Veterans willing to expand their careers in global business consulting
  • A mentorship program connecting students to experienced industry professionals
  • International Management Student Council (ISMC)
  • Student-run organizations such as International Management Student Council (ISMC), Global Mobility Club (CMC), Global Business Organization (GBO), Society of Sustainable Business (SSB) and Collegiate World Affairs Council (CWAC)
  • Jindal Global Experience (JGE) — a weeklong, immersive experience in a foreign country as part of a course.
  • Local and international sustainability projects and competitions
  • Global mobility competitions and conferences
  • Personalized roadmap to global success
