This spring, I had the opportunity to work at Auro Pharmacy as a marketing/operations intern. Auro Pharmacy is a dedicated service provider delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services and products. They offer healthcare services, from over-the-counter medication to medication therapy treatment and health screenings. Overall, Auro Pharmacy has established solid relationships with its patients, communities, and healthcare providers.
The Pharmacy also works closely with senior communities, primary healthcare facilities, and assisted living homes. This is all to ensure that it meets the needs of its patient groups. Auro Pharmacy understands its role in the healthcare industry. With a customer-centric approach, it can address its clients’ significant healthcare needs, improving its reliability and stellar customer service.
As an intern, I focused on promoting their pharmaceutical services and establishing client relationships. Additionally, I primarily worked with clinicians, senior living homes, and healthcare facilities. Throughout this process, I curated my interpersonal skills, such as customer service and communication, essential for my success. I was tasked with staying current on the market trends and in-depth knowledge of our services. The mentoring experience was crucial because I got to work closely with Dr. Sudhir Rajaure, the Pharmacist-In-Charge. He provided guidance that helped me grow professionally and personally while giving constructive feedback, which was essential. I had to coordinate with suppliers, oversee day-to-day workflows, and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
