A Rewarding Business School Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. One of the greatest opportunities that I encountered at UTD was having the ability to travel to Dubai with my International Business class! Our class was given business exposure throughout the several parts of the city. We had meetings with various companies and learned about their operations/management, products and services. It was quite an experience, seeing how the work environment is in another country.
Before I graduated, a challenge that was faced by not only me but by students all around the world was the class adjustments that we all had to make due to coronavirus. Not only did we have to shift over to online classes, but also we had less access to our wonderful school resources and events, such as the Career Management Center, the educational labs, career fair and more.
Understanding and Supporting Faculty and Staff
However, The University of Texas at Dallas has been very understanding of the circumstances that we are facing. With the cooperative staff, we were given additional online resources. For example, our educational labs usually are only provided in person. However, after starting online courses, The University of Texas at Dallas implemented online labs. Our university will always find its way to satisfy our concerns!
