International experiences are not required to complete the program. However, we recommend that our students participate in at least one international experience to broaden their skillset, visit new places, develop their global network and build their résumés. Upon return from their first international experience our students look forward to traveling again and typically do so before graduation. Our graduate students have been part of faculty-led trips, summer sustainability programs and international internships.
